I’m Baaack!
In due time, when I figure this blog site out, I will get my FunnyBusiness avatar, the carved wooden eagle with sunglasses, placed in a prominent position on this page; also debating whether to put the picture of the ‘honest politician’, the picture of a politician with his hands in his own pockets instead of yours, on the site.
After putting up with a gazilionaire Ivy League College dropout and his social media COMMUNITY STANDARDS violation and his tyrannical requirements to reestablish my presence on his terms, I decided to say “Screw it all” and start my own blog page where I can be the ‘Judge, Jury, and Executioner’!
I will be damned if don’t try to fight back to find out what I did wrong. I guess that the ‘TERMS of SERVICE’, which have been changed unilaterally, that I agreed to when I joined his social media site did me in!
As a former member of the military and a former elected official, by virtue of our city charter, I have sworn several times to ‘support and defend’ various legal documents that this great country is built on some of which are the FREEDOM of SPEECH, FREEDOM of the PRESS, and the 2nd AMENDMENT.
I am not entirely sure if people can respond to my blogs or not, but if that is possible, then my only request is keep it civil and clean.
A little about me, I am a semi retired Terrestial Data Acquisition Specialist, aka Land Surveying crew member and have done so since 1966 with the exception of a 3 year break of military service with a 12 month combat tour in Vietnam and a 16 month ‘combat tour’ in Fayettville, NC while stationed as a ‘leg’ or non airborne personnel member of the 82nd Airborne Division. They needed a Construction Surveyor and ‘Tag, I was it!’
I served a 10 month stint as a City Councilor at Large due to the resignation of one individual to devote full time to do his job as our local State Senator and I was the next eligible person to replace him.
I am a political activist who is not afraid to open his mouth in front political bigwigs.
I also volunteer at a local veterans food pantry, International Veterans Care Services several days a week.
I am also a Public Safety scanner freak and a licensed Amateur Radio Operator.
